From London to the United States: A Hair Journey Built on Experience, Service and Purpose

Since 2009, we have helped women look beautiful, feel confident and find quality human hair they can trust.

AfriGloba Hair is not a business that began yesterday.

Our journey in the human-hair and wig industry began in London, United Kingdom, in 2009 as Senitas Hair Wholesale. We crossed the Atlantic and continued as Senitas Hair USA. We built a major physical hair store in Houston, Texas, grew the vision in Atlanta through AfriGloba Hair and AfriGloba Hair Wholesale, and today we call the Dallas–Fort Worth area home.

Here in DFW, we are beginning one of the most meaningful chapters in our history:

A collection dedicated to nurses and to the hardworking professional women who spend their lives caring for everyone else.

Now, it is the nurses’ turn.

A JOURNEY BUILT ON EXPERIENCE

Since 2009, we have served individual customers, hairstylists, salon owners, wig makers and wholesale buyers across two continents.

In London, we learned the industry from the inside: wigs, extensions, bundles, closures, frontals, lace, textures, construction, coloring and care. More importantly, we learned how to listen to women and help each one choose hair suited to her appearance, her lifestyle and her budget.

In Houston, our large physical store taught us what no online business ever could. We watched women touch and compare textures with their own hands. We saw the disappointment when a wig failed to match its picture online, and the joy and renewed confidence when a woman finally found the right hair.

In Atlanta, we watched the industry change. Women wanted wigs that were easier to install, more natural and more convenient: glueless caps, pre-plucked hairlines, pre-cut lace, wear-and-go styles.

We listened. Every lesson from every city prepared us for what came next.

WHY WE CREATED WIGS FOR NURSES

Nurses spend their lives caring for people.

They work long shifts. They stand for hours. They work through the night. They comfort frightened patients and reassure worried families. They give up holidays, weekends and entire seasons of their own lives.

Yet very few beauty and hair companies have paused to consider their particular needs.

That realization led our founder, Juliana, to create Wigs for Nurses. As a nurse and hardworking professional woman, she knows what it means to prepare for work while managing family, responsibilities and an unpredictable schedule. She asked one important question:

Who is intentionally creating wigs around the real lives of nurses?

Many wigs are made to look beautiful in photographs. Nurses need more than a beautiful photograph. They need comfort, security, easy installation, professional styles and the ability to get ready in minutes.

That answer became Wigs for Nurses by AfriGloba Hair.

CONFIDENCE FOR EVERY SHIFT

Our nurse collection features a thoughtful range of styles: professional bobs, short easy-to-manage wigs, straight, body-wave, curly and kinky-straight textures, glueless and minimal-lace options, wear-and-go styles, conservative workplace colors and selected highlighted and ombré looks in different lengths and cap sizes.

Some nurses want a short style that stays off the shoulders. Some need a wig that fits comfortably beneath a scrub cap. Others want a polished look they can wear from the hospital to church, a meeting or a family celebration.

The goal is not to force every woman into one look. It is to offer carefully selected options for the many different women who serve in healthcare and other demanding professions.
